Just like spring when life is new
so is the splender of a child
Full of love and wonderous awe
his heart knows no hate and is mild
He sees life through an innocents eyes
all of God's beauty and grace
He sees the good in all of mankind
and has hatred for no creed or race
We must preserve this child of spring
and teach him the right path to walk
For he deserves only the best
and will reflect the ways he is taught
Just like the spring when life is anew
this child will flourish and grow
If we protect and nourish with love
When he is grown the right path will go
