Panter panther black as night
with shining eyes of steel and light
Stalking prey in shadows dark
springing forth to leave his mark
Instincts learned from long ago
hunting proud is what he knows
Regal cat of ageless beauty
prince of dark who knows his duty
The jungle deep he calls his home
free to stalk and free to roam
Leave him be to run with pride
cage him not least he will die
