Hello and welcome to a very special page made with love for Hannah Isabella Snyder. Hannah was a very special little girl who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She never ruled nations, fought wars or spoke to multitudes of people about current affairs or world peace. Yet this small delicate little child won the hearts and love of everyone she came in contact with, fought and won many battles in her short life time and even though she could not communicate as you or I, she spoke with her heart. Hannah had a very special glow that came from the Lord and everyone who knew her or came in contact with her could see it. She was pure love and I believe was lent to us for just a little while. I know  that when Hannah's work here on Earth was finished the Good Lord called her home again to live in the light, love,  and peace of Heaven. To watch over those she loved and knew and to see just how well those she taught had learned their lessons and to root on the side lines so to speak for us to continue to live in the way she had shown so well. If everyone could have the love and light within them as did Hannah, there would be no wars or sorrow in the world. There would only be love and peace and kindness.

I am sorry to say I could not be with family and friends of Hannah for her birthday celebration into Heaven and so my friend Maria Hill kindly read these humble words and poem written for Hannah from me. Thank you Maria for reading what was written from my heart.....

Dearest Laura, Roger, Corey, family and friends of Hannah Isabella Snyder

Although I cannot be with you all to celebrate our precious Hannah's birth into Heaven I am no less
with everyone in spirit and in heart. My good friend Maria Hill has graciously volunteered to read these
few humble words of love and admiration for Hannah that come from my heart.
Hannah was very special to me. She, in many ways helped me to see my way to begin focusing my life
in a direction of unconditional love and kindness towards others. People always told me I was a kind and
caring person but not until I met Hannah who shined with a glow that only God could give did I realize that
too much of my time and life was being wasted on trivial and selfish pursuits.

I was dwelling on my own battles with a hard to control diabetes and not taking time out to see all of the
blessings I have in my life. I know the Good Lord brought me into a bond with this special angel to help
teach me many lessons. Lessons of strength and courage and a beauty lying within a small delicate
child. She, Hannah, had more strength and courage then I ever could hope to have. Hers came from the
Lord and it glowed all around her.

I fell in love with Hannah the moment I read her story and then when I finally saw a picture of this angel my
heart melted and I was hopelessly devoted, a Hannah Snyder fan. I kept up with Hannah's condition. Suffering
with her in the bad times and cheering her on when she was doing better. At Christmas my heart hurt for Hannah
and her family. Praying for her to get well and to see another New Year.

Hannah's was the first quilt I made at Smile Quilts and it is so very special to me. I have since made many
more but if it were not for the Lord guiding Hannah and I together I doubt I would be working with all the
children today and spreading smiles and love from my heart to children. Hannah in her own and special way
helped to bring Smile Quilts into being. Almost a year after it's birth, Smile Quilts is growing in leaps and bounds
and bringing many smiles to children all over the world. Thanks to Maria my dear friend for the dream and thanks
to Hannah for being Hannah.

We all, my dear family and friends of Hannah have known and been in the company of an angel. A pure and innocent creation of God to help bring the spirit of love and kindness to everyone she touched and showed strength and courage very few on this earth ever will.

I thank you my Precious Hannah Butterfly for touching my life and helping me to find this path I am traveling down now and I hope and pray that your love will continue to shine down on us and continue to help show us a better way.

Hannah is so well and happy tonight. She is walking Heaven's streets of gold and I know she is finally home. We were blessed to be able to know Hannah, learn the lessons she was sent here to teach and given a chance to love and be loved by an angel on earth.
