I've gone down that old familiar road before
Many times I've tried and many times I've cried
Now I have come to a crossroads in my life
I think this time I will take the road less traveled
I know what lies ahead for me on that path so close to home
Many feelings, emotions, heartaches and unbearable pain
If I choose the road less traveled what will I find
Will I find love, happiness, security, will I find me
Will I find a purpose for my life, a fulfilling dream
Will I find someone who loves me for who and what I am
Or, will I find the same hurts that old familiar road holds
The same lies, broken hearts and empty promises
But this I know, if I shant dare to take the road less traveled
I will never find out what lies ahead and I will always wonder
