Small Wishes

 If all my smallest wishes
were added up and meant to be
They would not add up to many
maybe just two or three

The first wish I would wish for
would be that you were here with me
That I could hold you and kiss you
look forever into your eyes and see

The second wish I would wish for
you'd have a long and fruitful life
Never with fears or tribulations
living free from any want or strife

My third wish is a very special one
now that you have gone from me
I long to be Blessed by the Lord
to live with you throughout eternity

I must be strong, pray and remember
that Paradise I am promised and more
If I just repent and turn from sin
ask forgiveness when I knock on Heavens door

I know we will be together once more
and when I look upon your beautiful face
I will see you in all of God's Glory
as you shine with His Holy Grace

So sleep my little one, Noah
dream of mommy who loves you so
And on the day I get to Heaven
I will never let you go
